We are nine months in to the COVID-19 pandemic and every news source is reporting unprecedented spikes of cases in the United States. This begs the questions: Is there ever going to be an end in sight? Will life ever return to “normal?” Yes, things will eventually get better, but it's likely going to take a long while. Former Army staff Sergeant Jonathan Warren returned from Iraq a changed man. He was injured when the vehicle exploded after running over a bomb. Jon suffered physical injuries from the blast, but also went through heart-breaking post-traumatic stress from his own experience, and from not being able to get his fellow soldier out of a burning vehicle. Jon's journey through healing was picked up by both The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times. The Washington Post wrote an article about MeRT, which stands for Magnetic E (for EEG and EKG) Resonance Treatment and how it has helped patients suffering from TBI, PTSD, and Austim. The article tells the story of Staff Sgt. Jonathan Warren, who suffered a traumatic brain injury and PTS, after being injured and witnessing his best friend almost die during OPERATION Iraqi Freedom.
