March 2, 2020 By //  by Lisa Kay Leave a Comment

Former Army staff Sergeant Jonathan Warren returned from Iraq a changed man. He was injured when the vehicle exploded after running over a bomb. Jon suffered physical injuries from the blast, but also went through heart-breaking post-traumatic stress from his own experience, and  from not being able to get his fellow soldier out of a burning vehicle. Jon’s journey through healing was picked up by both The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times.

After years of going through various therapies, Jon learned of the MeRT treatment that was being offered by The Brain Treatment Center in California. Jon said, “When I came in there, I was a mess. I was terrified of not getting better.” In an interview with The Washington Post, Jon talked about his treatment and how he felt afterwards. “It was freeing. I was getting back to who I was before.” – Jon Warren

To hear the interview conducted by The Washington Post on MeRT therapy was able to help Jon recover, click here. For more on how he sustained his injury, and his journey back to health, here is the entire story that was written by The Los Angeles Times:  “Healing Sgt. Warren.”
